    I've stayed in Dolphin many times, mostly as a business trips. I gave them a chance multiple times. But last and this evening is just to much of a patience expected from me. Let me constructively analyze the hotel and Hospitality services they provide: 1. Rooms - rooms are quite decent, but there were occasions when my friends went to their rooms and said there was someone sleeping in the bed already ( unacceptable ! ). 2. Breakfast - The most hideous breakfast I've ever had. It just looks disgusting, eggs covered in oil, cheapest beans - everything served as a buffet, so prepared ones and kept on the hot plate for hours (unacceptable!). 3. Dinner - This is the point where story of my patience ends. All of my friends always go out to have a dinner, for the reason i'm going to explain. I'm quite busy during the evening nowadays, so decided to dine at the hotel restaurant. Last night, I've ordered a steak for £15, and what I got was actually half a steak, so I asked why is it smaller then my onion rings and the waiter said : "That's the pieces we have", but because she saw I was quite disappointed mainly because of 40 minutes wait (the restaurant was empty) she offered me a deal, that they will do me 2 steaks, so it's normal size. When the dish arrived half and hour later - what I got served was the steak i was given before, but guess what ?! Microwaved ! So basicaly it was rubber ! And the other steak, burnt to dead. No one turned up to ask how was it, so i found a manager and told him the story. he apologized and said he'll have a chat to the kitchen staff. Tonight, I thought I would give you guys another chance, trying your restaurant food. Guess what ?! It was closed because the number of guest currently in the hotel. Right, You cannot prepare a buffet food (that's what I guess it is) unless you are sure it is not going to be wasted. Guys, You should have closed the hotel and buy something less demanding like, I don't know, a car wash ? But honestly, I'm getting better service at any car wash, and they pay more attention to details then you do. Chris

    Probably the oddest place I've ever stopped for a drink. Half the bar looks like it belongs in a nightclub and the other half a 60s pub. Shame as it's one of the few places situated right next to the river with an outdoor seating area. Perhaps it livens up in the summer...?
